A versatile approach to project procurement

We regularly procure projects via traditional tender but have also successfully used more innovative methods to the benefit of both the project and the client.

P&G and Margin
We are retained on an agreed P&G and Margin prior to tendering the trade components of the project. Then an ‘open book’ tender establishes an agreed lump sum.

Design and Build

We are involved early in the project life to establish a project team that includes design consultants. Drawing on our wealth of experience we lead the project team to design for buildability and for value. The project management and accountability rest with Scope Projects.

Collaborative or Partnering Arrangement
The client, design team and ourselves work through the project together under a good faith agreement where everybody focuses on a common goal rather than just concentrating on the part of the project that they have specific responsibility for. All stakeholders share the project responsibility and benefit from a successful project outcome.

Negotiation
We get involved at the earliest stage of the project to work through the various options with the client and design team. There is no tender process to select the main contractor but the client gains by drawing on our expertise to save time and eliminate excessive cost.
